Pesta Kaul promises to be more comfortable this year

MUKAH: The Pesta Kaul organising committee will ensure that the event will not only be more successful but also more comfortable for visitors.

This year’s festival at the Kala Dana beach has been scheduled for April 21 to 29.

The response to last year’s event was said to be great but was not without certain shorthcomings, particularly the lack of parking spaces, which greatly limited access to the venue.

Organising committee chairman Saudi Narani said if Pesta Kaul was to be raised to international standard as suggested by Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud during last year’s event, providing a certain degree of comfort to visitors must be considered.

He said comfort, among other things, included providing sufficient number of safe parking spaces.
